Our Code of Conduct

To ensure every guest and staff member feels safe, respected, and welcome, all attendees and employees are expected to follow this Code of Conduct. By attending a Xoco event, you agree to uphold these community standards and co-create a space rooted in kindness, compassion, and collective care.

1. Respect & Inclusion

  • Treat all individuals with kindness, dignity, and respect — regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, body type, ability, or background.

  • Engage with a spirit of openness, and be kind to everyone — not just the people you came with.

  • Discrimination, hate speech, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, xenophobia, or any other form of bigotry will not be tolerated.

2. Harassment-Free Environment

  • Harassment of any kind is not allowed. This includes (but is not limited to): leering, staring, sneering, mocking, catcalling, teasing, or inappropriate comments.

  • Any form of unwanted physical contact — including groping or inappropriate touch — is strictly prohibited.

  • Consent and personal space must be honored at all times.

3. No Violence or Aggressive Behavior

  • Acts or threats of physical violence, intimidation, or aggression are not allowed.

  • Verbal abuse, shouting, or hostile confrontations will result in immediate removal from the event.

4. No Alcohol, Drugs, or Weapons

  • All events are alcohol-free and drug-free zones.

  • No smoking or vaping is permitted within event spaces.

  • No weapons of any kind are allowed on the premises.

5. Maintain a Clean Space

  • Please clean up after yourself and be mindful of the shared environment.

  • Use designated trash receptacles and recycling bins — leave the space as beautiful as you found it.

6. Clothing & Behavior

  • Nudity is not allowed at any Xoco event.

  • Please refrain from wearing offensive or inappropriate clothing.

  • All behavior should be appropriate for a public, diverse, and respectful community gathering.

7. Look Out for One Another

  • If you see someone who appears uncomfortable, overwhelmed, or in need of support, please notify a staff member.

  • We encourage a community-centered mindset — compassion, patience, and care go a long way.

8. Staff & Organizer Expectations

  • Our staff is here to help. Please treat them with the same respect and kindness extended to all participants.

  • Staff members are available to assist with questions, concerns, or support needs. They are also empowered to intervene in situations that compromise the safety or wellbeing of the event.

9. Accountability

  • Violating this Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

  • In serious cases, law enforcement may be contacted, and individuals may be banned from future events.
